INDUSTRY 4.0
The term Industry 4.0 refers to a particular type of automation that integrates new technologies to improve productivity, and analytics and communication between different machineries. The elements on which the concept of Industry 4.0 is based are Cyber-physical Systems (CPS), i.e. high-automation and collaborative systems that interact with the physical environment within which they operate through a dedicated infrastructure.
Decentralized technologies for collaboration between machineries and machineries and users (Smart Factories), advanced IT infrastructures (Smart Services) and optimized waste reduction systems (Smart Energy) are the tools that aim to improve working conditions, productivity and the quality of production processes.
Since this type of solutions allows an improvement of the whole system, in recent years there has been increasing attention to these issues both at European and national level with the Industry 4.0 Plan.
The philosophy behind our work, focused on the quality of the process and on the sustainable use of resources, has allowed us to go this way by designing systems consistent with the requirements of Industry 4.0 and its incentive opportunities.
CONTROL IS NOT JUST A CHECK
Thanks to advanced electronic sensors, our systems are able to continuously monitor process variables and control any unexpected event by modifying the production parameters, generating alarms and forcing the system shutdown when reaching critical security thresholds.
CONNECTION = TRANSPARENCY
Our systems can be connected to other machineries and interact with them in many ways depending on the type of relationship. For example, we can control other machineries by requiring the opening of some circuits during washings, or provide utilities when their availability is required by other machines.
In addition, all our systems are equipped with remote assistance devices and can be integrated with customer's ERP to ensure complete traceability of the production process.
SUSTAINABILITY
In addition to cutting down on water and energy consumption, the technology developed for our sanification systems allows us to use a smaller amount of chemicals. These savings also bring crucial attention to the latest safety requirements, since they check the amount of product involved to use the minimum necessary, avoiding wastes and reducing the concentration of chemicals in water drain.
In addition, Win&tech offers systems to re-process wastes (wine lees) and a patent-pending system to recover the wine used to wine-wash the bottling line during the first part of the production runs. Thanks to this last system it is possible not only to avoid the production of waste, but also to avoid stocks of byproducts.
